BYC SEWING/QUILTING CLUB

That's pretty Sara! I've been making some that are similar.
These are the ones I gave my aunts and cousin at our Christmas yesterday:

Beth and Sara,

Those are really beautiful! I am sure that the people who got them will treasure them more than a store bought set.

Now I guess ya'll are trying to make me get off the stick and start on my projects and get them finished. LOL

My twin brother sent me a Christmas card with a picture of my newest Great Niece, Karis Elisabeth, such a cutey!.

Sara and Beth, both of your potholders are very nice. I know they will be well received.
I also had an idea to make grocery tote bags and fill them with small assorted loaves of bread, but that will not be happening this year. I have been down with the "crud" for about a week. It's the upper respiratory kind. Spent 3 hours at the clinic Sunday afternoon, including blood work and a chest x-ray. I'm not sure if I will be up to going around the block to my family holiday dinners.
To those of you who are battling illness, I wish you encouragement, healing, and strength. For those in extreme weather, I pray you all are warm enough and safe. For those who may be sad, lonely, and worried about the future, I wish you hope.

As for me, I have to rest, drink my tea, take my meds, and be glad I have some DVDs on hand. Cheers, friends.
