I don't think it's because you haven't posted. If you're watching a thread (getting notified of replies) and you get a notification but then don't go and read the new post(s), you won't get further notifications until after you view the thread again. And I think it's always been this way.

It's always been like that for me, even when I do post (or look) regularly in a thread.

Do you view the most recent page so the thread is marked as read? I don't think watched threads are unwatched when one stops replying to them.

I think if you get a notification from a watched thread and then don't view it so the thread is marked as read, you won't get further notifications until after it gets marked as read, and if I'm not mistaken, that requires viewing the most recent page in the thread. Yeah I know that’s a way to get around it but I don’t think about it much. And the few times I look at it I get frustrated all all the threads I’ve missed and forgotten about

Is anyone else having trouble with reactions? Using iPhone. It is very hard to do anything other than like. Somehow you have to react like and then change it because it won’t let you do any of the others first time.

I've had similar issues before the update. It's usually random. Either I can't do anything but like, or I'll click the like and it'll take me to a new page asking if I wanted to use that reaction. Other times, I'll hold on the like (on my tablet) to get the other reactions, and it'll give me the right click response list like download and stuff instead. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the Internet from what I've seen either. It's usually an issue on that specific page and reloading or opening the page up in a new tab would take care of the problem most of the time.
Most reaction issues I've had that is connected to the Internet is I'll get those three bars in the top right corner saying it's loading.

As far as I know, for reactions(the like menu) it's working as intended. A single touch on mobile will result in a like. Alternatively, you can hold it to bring up the menu.

I don't think there's a way to change that at the moment.
