I think I am the only one chatting on this thread ...

Amyquilt - got my block done. Its pieced. I think I'll stick with this since its rather time consuming. Do I need to post a pic to make sure it is keeping with the theme and everyone approves??? I hope that it is. And I hope that no one goes

when they see it. Let me know if you want a pic and if everyone approves!!! (Before I go and make more!)

I think I have picked my pattern, but I'm keeping it a secret for now just in case I change my mind.

I am going to do simple pieced and the block I chose is Square within a Square 2.

Well, I'll go ahead and post what I am thinking about. I am not sure if it fits enough into the theme. I just didn't like any of the farm fabrics that I saw. The focus fabric has strawberries, bluebirds, butterflies and other bugs on it. I haven't been quilting long -- I still don't have any "projects" finished yet!!

Let me know if this fits ok into our theme ...

Sorry I'm MIA. My son was put in the hospital on Monday. This is typical for us during the winter, though.

so sorry about your son Amy, Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I like the block also. Very springy and farmy.

I love doing the square with in a square. I am making a quilt with that block now, well it is in the making. I am using farm fabric, cows, chickens, barns and such. I got the fabric at Wal Mart. The block I am going to use for this swap is Patience Corners.
