To the crew doing the update - hope you were prepared to hear the comments about change, and not discouraged. Change is difficult for most - and it takes time to adjust. And negative / confused comments are the norm, I once ran a consumer shopping website. After an upgrade, 95% of the comments were negative, and our marketing team wanted us to revert to the old format. However - while comments were negative, sales increased. The update had made it easier for purchasing, and we saw an immediate improvement in "conversion" - the rate of purchase transactions to site traffic ... we stayed with the upgrade.
Hang in there, fix the glitches, and don't worry - we'll get used to it!

Okay, finished winging for now. Time to say something positive. I belong to another forum much much smaller than this that did a similar transfer and it was a mess. So, good job, especially considering the quantity of data.

I agree. Folks who don't work, or haven't worked, in IT don't realize what a monster software migrations can be. Kudos to the team for doing great work

It's very... differenty, but samey. If that makes sense.

Missing the recent threads thing to the right side of every page, but other than that, I think I like it!

My favorite part so far: PICTURE RESIZING!! I'm so stoked that pictures aren't ALL or nothing anymore!

(I may have known that was coming long before now, though, so I was ready for it. )

I don’t have the logo on the banner anymore, and the box of threads at the bottom of the page (recommenced, popular, new, etc.) are gone too. Other than that, everything seems to be working! Good job!
