The most active ones, or at least the ones that come up time and again are the chat threads. In my opinion, the most recent posts should be threads started, like it was before.

Yes, very annoying.

I think it takes away a bit on the educational side of BYC.

Many things have contributed to that....could rant, but won't

I still am very limited in how I use BYC so do not even know/understand much of what I read in this thread (thus has become a good learning spot). Also some of the comments are predicated on knowledge of what was vs what is.

Stuff happens, life evolves, one accepts.

Why is it that when I check my watched threads before looking at my new notifications there’s nothing (aside from the most recent posting time stamp) to tell me that I have new posts in a thread? I find it really frustrating and had no idea that in some of my watched threads there were new posts.

While viewing your watched thread list.. The titles that are in bold print are the ones that have new post.
Here is a pic of my watched threads list.
Notice the third, fourth and fifth threads listed title's are in bold... Those have new posts that I haven't seen yet.

I did a couple days ago. It was very slow to load and kept timing out. Took 3 or 4 tries before it loaded. Yesterday seemed ok.
