The ability to click on the post number to get the URL for a specific post is also gone.

It's still there, just moved slightly.

Nope, it is gone along with now only being the post number instead of the post number and of the total number of posts.

Once again what seems nicer to a tech is less user friendly. Almost everything that I used to do in one step now requires multiple steps to accomplish the same things.

It requires no more steps to copy the link than it did before. In fact I think it's easier to use, because if you click the icon with the two sheets of paper, it copies the link for you.

Think those settings are in "Preferences"....

No, not emails from BYC, but from random crap that exists in the world. I’ve got my BYC preferences set perfectly.

Interesting: For the past 13 years I've been on BYC, I've almost always used my computer / desktop to access it (not just BYC, but pretty much all sites)... but I've been surprised to find that with this new update I'm using mobile more and more, and it's a <GASP> pretty dang nice experience!

It is definitely very sleek on mobile now!

Though even before I liked mobile better. Not that there was anything wrong with desktop. I think I’m just used to always being on my phone/doing everything on here.

Although I will say that having a real keyboard is definitely nice... and I type a lot faster with it.

Though I type pretty dang fast on my phone too haha

That would stress me out having that many icons and/or that cluttered and I’d need to organize it.

I always use my mobile because it's always with me wherever I am.

Same! Though it’s kind of bad cause I check it whenever, where ever.
