Wondering about the Forum Statistics... Are we missing about 80K members? I thought membership had reached 450K.

Spam accounts etc were not carried over to the new platform therefore causing a drop in membership numbers.

What's a PFM?

Platinum something membership, or is it a catch-all for the upgrade?

It says I have a "PFM", whatever it is, but I know I had a GFM before the format change, not a PPM...

Well, according to the new home page, there are currently 146 members, 2000 guests, and 337 robots on BYC. I guess the robots are spammers? (Unless robots are starting to keep backyard chickens...)

(BTW - I just got an error when trying to add an emoji to the end of my post. I took a screen capture but can't upload it - got an error 525 again. Then it wouldn't post my reply.)

I can not find how to send private messages between members, or conversations as you now call it. I do not wish to make a public thread open to only one person to reply and do not feel as I want to share everything with the whole world all the time either. Will you be bringing back private messaging or is there another way to have a private conversations with certain members without broadcasting to all?

You can - it's just been renamed "Conversations". You can go under your account and click the link to go to them. All your old conversations are there are you can start new ones. They are private between participants.

When I click on "My Attachments", it is showing me Aart's attachments, then I eventually get a security error! (the first time I did it, it actually popped up a box saying something like "thank you, aart, for signing in"...
