Cackle Hatchery Ameracaunas?

My problem from buying from a hatchery will be the required number that you have to buy. I only have room for about 10 more, so I won't be buying from Murry McMurry, you have to buy a minimum of 25 until May. If I get some I want them before May! Who allows a minimum order of only 10? Any one know?
I ordered our blue Ameraucana pullets from the Chick Hatchery this past summer, and their minimum was small. I ordered 3 Ameraucana and 3 Favorelles and received one extra.

Does anyone have any Black or Blue Ameraucanas from Cackle? I want some blue egg layers along with either some more FBCM or Welsummers and Cackle has all three. I currently have seven EEs so the Ameraucanas I buy I want to make sure they lay blue and not green. I’d also prefer to order from a hatchery because I can get sexed chicks, I don’t need any roosters right now. Thanks.
So what's wrong with having "Green eggs and ham"?:idunno

You are up in Northern California, I see. There is some beautiful country up there.

I have read that in the past, like in the 1800s and early 1900s, that people saw white eggs as being pure. Now people see white eggs as being commercial and brown eggs as being "farm fresh". :)

Both preferences show people's ignorance. The egg shell color is just an egg shell color. It does not change the egg inside.

I say sell people what they want and eat the other eggs yourself, or hatch the eggs.
Good point!
