Thank you! 🄰 My 2 Coyas (1 is from Incas 1st clutch, and the 2nd is from her 3rd clutch) are so much alike… so sweet and quiet. I always say that Coya 2 is just the pastel version of Coya. (That’s really the only big difference to me). ā¤ļø I love the name Squid!
Aww, that's nice. At least there IS a difference! The 'Squids' were almost identical, I think I found one difference at least once (apart from their DNA), but that sort of thing is so easy to forget! :lau

Sounds like those 2 could’ve come from the same egg! That would be confusing. 🤣 Wow, that’s so special. 🄰

Does anyone keep sparrows? I found this little guy on the road and he's quickly bonded with me, any advice greatly appreciated

I have no experience with any softbills so I can't help you in that sense.
What I can tell you (as I am a birdwatcher) is that this is a juvenile Dunnock, not a sparrow. They are not a type of sparrow, though commonly called a Hedge sparrow, and are in fact a species of accentor.
Has he been eating anything yet? Dunnock's diets consist of insects and seeds, but I don't really know if he should still be being fed by his parents.
Was he healthy and hopping about? Because if he was, you probably shouldn't of picked him up, because his parents were most likely nearby. Dunnocks are ground-feeding birds, so if he was on the ground, that was normal.
I hope he's OK! :D
