mille fleur Leghorns sound nice too. My penedesenca hen needs a spotted friend or two.

I'm starting to collect eggs from my mile fleur leghorn pens now, if you need them

and I'm also going to be culling a few juveniles from my pens this week - they are great just not breeder quality

This is Fred & Ginger, partridge rock bantams

.

This is Squishy, quail OEGB, she's 3 now and pretty much bomb proof.
She was sun-bathing in my hand while my daughter waited for her group to be called for showmanship at state fair. She got lots of grins from people walking by.

So what's been hatching around here this week.................
4 paint showgirls and 2 paint silkies

Silkies/showgirls (blues and partridge and ? porcelain maybe)

The two blue showgirls

A RIR

Icelandics

Bantam barred rocks

Serama

Dang, two of them were more FRIZZLES!

And what has my mantra been for months.....................................NO NEW BREEDS!

I guess I meant to say after the Columbian Rocks.

:love

Four more eggs in lockdown or going soon.  Just in time for the set for NYD tomorrow!  I need to start paying people to let me hatch for them, so I'll stop hatching for myself!  And I won't discuss the other new breed I have coming in the spring...............  I either need more pens or have to decide to part with something I have :hit

Very pretty. Do all OEGB have blue legs?
