Wow, what a HUGE compliment there.   Thank you to both of you!  I love them dearly.  I'm super excited with the current year's breeding.  I'll be growing out a lot of birds this year.

If anyone has had experience dealing with chicken wounds, I'd appreciate your advise here. I have the worst luck in the world. I lost my first barnevelder cockerel to a leg wound and now my other one has this wound.

We got one at osh that is blue and about 9, and one off of amazon that was a reptile one that sticks in a hole . OK that's not that useful. Let me see if they have names on them. I love the osh one I use it for chicks too.

incubator warehouse has some very nice combo units that measure temp and humidity. They even have one with a probe that looks like an egg for temperature.

Make sure you get a thermometer that does goes out to the half points.
