I hope they hatch, and I hope they are girls. I know how hard Jason has been working on his lines.

No Broody Hens Here!

Dorkings are supposed to lay a bunch of eggs over the laying season and then go Broody in the Fall.

Speaking of Dorkings, Mimi was on top of the Coop again tonight:





I think she was miffed that I took a picture instead of getting her into the coop!

I know! Plus I was an hour late getting out there tonight...
 
Mine are funny when I'm late going out to shut up the people doors on the coops and the lights are on. I get real Evil Eye from the boys, they like their beauty sleep and the hens are scratching around in the bedding.
