Temp/Humidity Guage.

I am going to try to return it today, I will let you know how it goes.
Have you ever returned anything to them? I'm curious about their customer service.

I lost 35 polish to a bob cat in 2011. I patrolled everyday, put out a manikin, played music, I even put up an electric fence and nothing worked. I finally resorted to a roof over the run and stopped letting them free range on the hill behind the coop. Turns out , our bob cat only comes in the Fall so the birds can free range the rest of the year. Here is a picture of the roof we built over the run. As you can see, the chickens were supervising. .
Wow that run is huge! Lucky chickens

I am amazed! I have a hatching 101 link in my signature line and I don't really check it enough. That thing has a lot of information and Sally Sunshine is constantly updating it. I really need to sit down and read that puppy again!
I read the link before I ordered an incubator - it was extremely helpful. Thank you, Ron!

So I took a look at the Ameraucana thread... holy cow! Argument after argument...

It's a bummer people think their hatchery "Ameraucana's" are real Ameraucana's. There is so much false information about Ameraucana's that has been passed around, it's frustrating for everyone!

One sad part is when it spreads into other threads adding negativity. I am so happy that does not happen here.

I just took a look at JerseyGiantFolks "Spa day for chickens" article. Love the picture of Maggie in her bubble bath. The first time we bathed birds for fair we had way to much water for the OEGB's, they were floating like fishing bobbers! They really do enjoy their tub time.

Thankfully company isn't coming until after the Red Bluff show so they won't be here for the smelly wet chickens all over the laundry room.

ETA - MIL keeps asking to see the new chicks, she doesn't understand that they still need heat etc. I'll be loading the incubator so I should have eggs hatching when she & 2 SIL's come to visit.
