I have a couple of white crested black polish pullets I'm going to sell. I also have some younger whites, but I haven't sexed them yet. I could take a look at them tomorrow to see if they are old enough to tell. I also have a frizzled tolbunt hen that I may sell, but she is a little spendy.

Hi Debi! Yes they're a dual purpose breed. Their meat is prized in Europe and they are egg laying machines! Ron - I'm so glad they're doing well! They're little champions. You're going to fall in love with the breed!Megan, are the Pita Pintas a dual purpose breed? I loved babysitting your first group of chicks and I love what they look like now! My incubator is sitting empty for the first time in 2 1/2 months and I'm trying to figure out how to justify adding another breed.

That looks so good!!!On the What are you baking now thread there was a recipe for Black Berry Wine cake. The Recipe and all of the ones I could find used Box mixes.
I do not use those--I do not like the way they taste--I grew up on home made everything. Of course I modified one of my favorite cake recipes and it turned out great!
