So my dad and Bros are planning on building a new shed. Unfortunately they want it exactly where my chicken coop is. Meaning, I have to take the old coop down. I know its going to be hard work and I'm not looking forward to it either. I still have to figure out where to have the new coop too. Sigh

Chiquita won't have any pure eggs for another 30 days. I finally got flame in a cage he can't get out of.

Thanks for the thoughts but it was gryeyes that had a property fall through. I am still waiting......tic toc tic toc. I should hopefully know in the next two weeks. Dang roller coaster ride. Originally I should have been signing this week, but the lender decided to train two new people on this program and hold me up for a week! So I get to be neurotic for another two weeks. To be truthful I probably won't stop being neurotic afterwards either.

its a crazy game until they close escrow and you have keys. Well then movings crazy too but when its yours its worth it.

I just sold my brother and sister in law a house, closed 2 days ago. They are so excited! but now the work begins, the previous owner smoked so new carpet paint and the works! Looks like I'll be working this weekend lol.

The Urch's have them so now all I need is for Beakface to go broody again between January and May or another girl to prove herself in that time frame. If that doesn't happen I might know a couple of people with incubators...

The little chicks are 4 weeks old today. They were supposed to be EEs and one came out of a white egg. Pretty sure it a boy and he has pink legs, a straight comb and no muffs. Funny b/c I saw the breeding pen and everyone in it had pea combs green legs and muffs and beards...The other three are EE types. 2 of the four are feathering in black and white so I really hope one of them is a pullet.

School started yesterday.For the first time in 8 years I don't have one of my own on campus
