speaking of vigor and isbars -- just checked on the incubator, and one that had just barely started to pip an hour ago has powered through and is already out of the egg! speedy baby! (and a second blue isbar!)

Very cute! But I agree...a little pricey. I wonder if a regular small rubber stamp would work?

Yes they will. I have many chicken stamps since I started doing greeting cards & they work fine. Julie, Teresa & I are making chicken greeting cards to sell at the Fresno Show. I hope to make a lot of my chicken earrings for the vendor table too. I have a lot of nice feathers to work with. Cheryl even mailed me a whole carcass once...........LOL I sure miss her & her beautiful birds.
I use the chicken stamps for many different things including making Christmas ornaments out of blown out eggs with chickens stamped & colored on them.

This is totally off subject although I dearly love the Isbars. So pretty!

My 8 month old cries when I leave her to go get wood for the fire place. My solution has been to put her in the jumper and call the chickens. She loves to watch them! We have naughty chickens that don't know when to quit. I had to shoo them out today.

What great pictures!

So nice to talk to you! It's been awhile! Seeing Debi and the show Saturday revived my chicken enthusiasm! I make cards as well and have a few chicken stamps...do you find one type of ink works best?
