Put drops in her beak or dip her beak. You can tube feed but but thats tricky tricky in chicks. If they are your own chicks send them in to make sure they are not dying from something passed via the youlk.

I used a syringe intended to irrigate wisdom tooth extraction to get diluted nutidrench down curly's gullet when he was a 3 day old. If you go to your dentist tomorrow and ask for one you will probably be given one.

I like it because the part you try to get into their beak is small so it fits in there but delivers just a bit at a time so it cuts down on the risk of drowning. I have one in my chicken first aid kit. I would fill it and pick him up and gently depress it while holding it at about 4 o'clock some ran out but enough got down to keep him going.

I am thinking that I will hatch the two bantams in my LG instead of under the broody with the LF eggs. Any thoughts on that? I will candle day 17 and have the bator ready.

Any advice would be so appreciated.

Ok...I'm getting a pretty good tax refund so I thought I would treat myself to a better incubator. (I'm using the Farm Innovator). I'm looking at the Brinsea Octagon 20 advanced. It is on Amazon for $349 with free shipping. What do you all think of that one ans is that a good price? I am also a little confused by these 2 listings. This first one haw a much simpler listing and is model number B00A2XSLDI. It is the one that has free shipping:

This one looks like the same exact one, sold by the same company, but has a $29 shipping fee. It does not give a model number and has very little in the description:

Are they the same incubator?
Yes, they are the same.

Quote: Agreed. I have hatched in the brinsea, but most of the time I hatch in my hovabator for hatching. The babies fluff up really quickly in the brinsea, but the dander gets up into the fan blade and you have to take it apart to clean it. It's hard to hatch in the Brinsea if you have a lot of eggs set.
