@debs_flock. Or anyone else keeping olandsk dwarf . Which are you preferring for breeding: I have hens with both "fan" tail feathers AND hens with a rounded rump. Hmmm

Rounded rump? You mean like on a brahma? As far as I know, they should have the typical hen tail. All of mine have the typical tail (you made me doubt it enough, I just walked out to the pen to look).

I currently have three pairs, this is something that may be on the downsizing list. They are cute, DH loves them, but somethings got to go! Right now every time we look at a pen it's....................."but I like those".

Yes! You know what I'm talking about... I'll go take pictures after I get David out of the bath . I can find nothing other than land race blah blah diversity in colors of feathers and legs..... I'd hate to breed for things I like then BAM their out of whatever standard is made...

Do you mean that some have tails like an inverted V and some have tails like an inverted U?

lol! yeah, they look a bit odd in the IT dept...
Mario takes chicks and eggs in for people who don't want to come here in the summer. He has an aquarium on his desk and he says the only issue is people come to coo at the chicks and he gets less work done. Is that a note to to turn it off? lol.
Now I want to see you bottle feed kittens there!

The worst was when I was tending a seriously ill pet (a puppy that had been injured at birth and trying to feed a tiny finch with a toothpick point). People always want to stop by to see the babies, sometimes they don't always survive.

Then you tell your co-workers...................they're sleeping. Then the next day tell them they died overnight at home. I don't want people to know I have a deceased pet under my desk in a box
