California - Northern

I have a really sensitive nose, but honestly there's been zero smell until this morning. Hence my shock. First week, with no changes: no smell. So I did a slightly deeper litter on Sunday when I moved them to the new bigger brooder and thought I was set for the week. Last night: no smell. This morning: HOLY CR*P! Quite literally.
Did they get a treat last night?

You can try giving them some chick grit, yogurt and a bit of food grade DE.

I have noticed that chicks with coccidisosis have *very* smelly poops. What color are the cecal poops?

And now I'll be freaked out all day!!!

Cecal poops I've seen are the same brown they've been all along. Honestly, the brooder is very clean in appearance (I only see poo if I see them do it or on top of the EcoGlow (which I clean off 2-3 times a day) and very dry. I have Corid on hand should I need it (cause I'm paranoid like that), but I don't think they're sick judging by their behavior, just stinky. Or stinkier than they were last week, LOL! Honestly, it could just be me and the super smeller combined with the fact that they're growing (and eating and pooing) at exponential rates.
