I love, love, love it.  It's a Brazilian granite and is called lapidus.  And I love the fact that the first trip my DH and I took together was to the Amazon in Brazil!

Does this look like your granite? It was here when we got the place. Don't know anything about it lol. It's all over the kitchen and 2 of the bathrooms. Our bathroom has a gray granite with threads of pink. Oh joy.

It's nearly finished. We're waiting for a few last minute items to come in, then probably one more day with the contractor and it's done

My crele penedesenca are now 7 1/2 months and still no eggs 

My big Orps didnt lay until about 31 weeks old!

I have a banevelder pullet that hatched 3/21 that still hasn't started laying. Her sister is laying. Last year I had a wellie pullet wait until she was 11 months old.

Jason - you never know when you might need tree containers.
I don't like throwing them out. Plus the chickens like to roost on them.

Jason's eggs (the three on the left are two marans and an egg flock egg). The eggs are darker in person than they appear in the photo.

They are a lovely medium terra cotta.

yep I use mine for bamboo that I grow sometimes. Plus it is good for chicken poo compost.
