My silkie didn't make it through the night. I feel terrible that it must have suffered through its last breath. Wish I could have done something differently.

I'm so sorry. I bet the whole thing was horrifying and heartbreaking. This part of this is never easy. Rest in peace little Silkie. <3

My latest hatch (Tuesday night), three of these.

One more egg to lock down on Tuesday, then nothing but a bunch of slow cooking eggs until the 24th

..................of course, then there's the NYD hatch!

Deb, it was so nice meeting you and your hubby yesterday... Thank you so much for the quail eggs. I still can't believe they hatch in 15 days and lay at 6 weeks old. That's crazy! And YES I'm a closet silkie lover! those show girls are so flipping cute. You are an enabler for sure....not sure how I feel about that... LOL Jason, get with Deb and figure out when you can come get Bamboo. My son has been busy working. He works for UPS. TIZ the season...
