Well, I really tried to quit BYC and couldn't do it.

Sorry that you lost your bird. You just have to tell yourself you did the best you could and she had a good life.

I am so sorry! Last December I had a 3 week old chick that was never grew like it was supposed to. The bigger chicks smashed it and we tried to save it. My youngest daughter was with the chick when it passed. It was sad for her but a life lesson too.

You did your best for her!

I always rely on Marios philosophy when stuff like this happens. If there is a chance they will pull through it, they want to live. They do not have the strong sense of past and present we do, so its not like they anticipate pain. We always give them every chance we can eve if there is some pain involved . A surprising amount pull through so I think its worth it. You gave her all the chance you could, and I think she would be happy to have had it.
