Yes, the Leghorns are ready to lay, especially the one with the bigger comb and wattles. They are one of the earliest layers and in the spring, would have already reached Point Of Lay.

It could be a LH egg I guess.
It was NOT brown or even close to brown. It was not green or even close to green. It was not totally. Almost an off white- like a pale ivory. I'm keeping my on them though.
