Congrats Ron...very pretty! Can't wait to see the eggs from the Amelia's. I am Currently incubating some blue isbar rooster x blue and splash maran eggs. I'm thinking the next generation eggs should turn out very nice. Time will tellToday should be a good day! I made Cheese Cake with Oreo crust last night and had a slice for breakfast. I also started pizza crust for tonight! I took a couple of pictures today of one of the Amelia chickens-Cream Legbar X Crele Pene Olive Egger chickens. Check out the crest! This picture was taken just before the cat wanted to play. The chick flew into the headboard..Boy can they fly!
The flash was not being nice to me this morning and I had to get out of the house--Daughter to school and me to work. I will try to get a better picture of my Bresse pullet this weekend. She is still in Quarantine.

Just got a photo of her today. Man, she is really hard to photograph. Hard to tell if she is a chicken or a pile of feathers! Is she a good example of what you were describing?

We have had the same problem with ordering polish. I'll be looking for a SLP at the Anderson show. One of my 4-H girls has been trying for at least 3 years to get a girl that makes it to POL.
I tried awhile ago to send you a PM, we were have technigogy issues and I wasn't sure if it went or not. Were you thinking of going to Anderson? It is written on my calander but DH would like to see me go back to work. I should be able to make it down rhough. Be a fun trip with the greyhound and chickens.I have Polish. They're really hardy and even go broody. I got my ori ginal flock from a breeder, I know that make a difference. I have SLP but they only put out really nice GLP so far. We'll see this year what I get. Mine are LF.
