If you keep the chick separated, you do not need blue Kote. It is for active bleeding.
I'd only worry about the blue kote if the other chicks are picking at her and then I'd probably separate her instead. The blue kote is an antiseptic, but the vetericyn is better (IMO and my vet's).
Thanks guys! I was thinking to cover up the 'red' so they would be less inclined to nip at her. Only sometimes to they show interest. They are in my office so I can keep a pretty close eye. I will separate her if it comes to that but I will watch close for now. Some Vetericyn for her later.I'm so sorry about your chick! Poor thing!
