Thanks for posting. They are very sweet! Where did you get them? I can see the comb on the black chick. Luckily they have a tiny crow to match their tiny size. I think these guys are a little addictive!!! (You can tell a lame joke when it requires visual aides.

I got the eggs from MrsMoonCat

I first saw them at the Stockton show, their crow is so cute! I think the black & white one is a cockerel too. They took dust baths with Mama yesterday it was adorable.

Living with big dogs can be a challange. I had an Afghan that stole a pizza off the top of the refridgerator once. I had weighted it with a cast iron skillet but he got it anyway.. He also got a couple of cheesecakes I had cooling on the stove. Raider was silver and black, everyone thought he was named for the football team, until they looked away for a second.

That is awesome!

My great Pyr x Anatolians like to eat chicken feed. I think it has to do with the fish meal.

Duck Eggs go to lockdown tomorrow!

I expect pips soon after.

How is the DH?
Ok. Stressed out. He's on edge constantly worried he is going to set off his heart condition. If he gets hungry, it stresses him. Too tired? Stress. And when he is stressed it makes him feel a certain which leads to more anxiety. He is struggling with it. I feel bad for him. He is back to work and trying to get through the day without stressing. Poor guy. Thanks for asking!

I am ordering the bottom piece to my bator today. I have 3 goose eggs saved up. I want to hatch them.

Woohoo duck pips!

Ron what was the name of that therm you recommended. I placed my order for the base. Now I need to find another therm to keep track of temps/humidity. :D I have a couple goose eggs I want to hatch. I want to hatch a couple duck eggs too.

I like the Brinsea Spot Check for Temps. The Humidity one I like is from Incubator Warehouse: http://incubatorwarehohttp://incubatorwarehouse.com/incubator-thermometer-hygrometer.htmluse.com/incubator-thermometer-hygrometer.html

Mine is accurate enough.

Brinsea has a 10% discount usually. I think you can get the current one from their website.

I can sex them by 3 weeks. Any growing a comb by 3 weeks are cockerels - the combs turn pink pretty early on cockerels too. When the chest feathers come in, pullets will have salmon colored chests and cockerels will be black and red in the chest.
Thanks! Off to stare at them a while. They must be around 3 weeks. I'm hoping that they aren't all cockerels. They are the sweetest little chicks!

They all have little pink combs. Well not really pink but more yellow but they are bigger than I would like to see. When do the cockerels start showing dark feathers on their chest? So far still white and salmon colored.
