To Debs_Flock!

Thanks for the bday wishes!

Happy Birthday Deb! I've really enjoyed getting to know you this last year and meeting your husband. I appreciate all the information you're so willing to share and I admire the way you manage your animals. Have a great day!

I have two girls exactly like the one on your hubby's back. Are they Easter Eggers? I am waiting for those pretty blue eggs, not green, blue. Please tell me I will have the blue eggs.

Yeah, she's pure Ameraucana, but a mix of two approved colors so most would call her an EE, but she will have blue eggs. If your EE's are crosses ( Ameraucana x _______ ) they could lay blue green or even pink eggs.

EEs, from hatcheries, are much more likely to lay green eggs. Non Standard Ameraucanas should lay very nice Blue eggs more often.

Some people really get worked up about this topic though.

Nikon, Submission #1 is a shoo in! (Or is that "shoe in?" Hmm.). Definitely a Spring month for the calendar!

On another subject, my real estate broker said that property listing on Starwizard Lane is a "Really good deal.". It's not her company's listing even though she dealt with calls from the owner several times and even suggested the brush be cleared (which has been done), but then the owner listed with another agency.

When I mentioned it to her, she had a momentary panic, thinking I wanted to buy it TOO. I told her I was encouraging BYC folks to buy it. ;). Hehehehe.

I did have a pink egg but that's not blue. I am so looking forward to an actual blue egg and will be disappointed if I don't see one. I only bought them for their blue eggs because that's what BYC people said. I will wait and see. If not I will be one disappointed EE owner.
