MLS #13050487 The property in that listing just came up for sale two days ago. 2.64 acres (size and zoning legal for chickens and livestock) 2 BD, 1 bath "fixer." It happens to be adjacent to my rooster-intolerant neighbor, though, on the "next road up" from ours. Physically uphill from him.... And from my house. (My current one, not the new property I am buying away from close neighbors.) So, some BYCer should buy it and we'll sandwich him in..... I am keeping some of my flock here - I am not moving - just the majority of the flock will be relocated. Someday I may build something or place a manufactured home there, and move lock, stock AND barrel, but not real soon. A tiny part of me wishes that new listing on Starwizard Lane had been available when I bought my house just a bit over two years ago, so the Great Chicken War of Old Outingdale Road would never have happened. Because they know I am technically not legal here, just allowed by administrative decision after the county- selected attorney appointed as judge for the administrative hearing decided in my favor, my neighbors really could make it poopy for me if I don't respect their rooster-intolerance. If my parcel were an acre or larger, I would tell them to pound sand without impunity. So.... Anybody interested? :gig

Another local gal that I know through my chicken FB page asked me about Vet Rx. She said that she had 3 sneezing hens. any information I can pass on?

ORMom Thanks for the Clarification an uniforms. So are the Scarf and the Hat no longer required either? good Luck to your DD. I like Salem. My DD seriously considered Willamette...or rather they made her such a great offer that I seriously considered Willamette

I use Vet rex. On the combs and wattles and legs. it is good for colds and may help. sneezing could be from all the smoke too.

great idea

I have 4.5 acres randomly right outside of sacramento/arden-arcade. I always wondered if anyone would fuss about the crowing, but if my neighbors make a fuss, can they do anything about it or do I have too much land?

What zoning is your property? Are you in the city limits?

Wish it needed to be rented. I would go look at it today. We had to short sale our home in Sacramento in March due to a second we took to help build our daughters home. Our credit is not up high enough to buy. I wonder what rhe price is because I have 22 chickens! I will check it out anyway. Thank you.

Happy birthday, Deb! This is a good day for a birthday! It is also my oldest grandson's B-day (9 today) and my BIL's birthday (older than 9!).
