To Debs_Flock!
Thanks for the bday wishes!
I have two girls exactly like the one on your hubby's back. Are they Easter Eggers? I am waiting for those pretty blue eggs, not green, blue. Please tell me I will have the blue eggs.
Quote: Thank you so much Pam, that's very kind of you. And it was a pleasure meeting you and sending off my roo and egglets to such a good home!
EEs, from hatcheries, are much more likely to lay green eggs. Non Standard Ameraucanas should lay very nice Blue eggs more often.Yeah, she's pure Ameraucana, but a mix of two approved colors so most would call her an EE, but she will have blue eggs. If your EE's are crosses ( Ameraucana x _______ ) they could lay blue green or even pink eggs.

Some people really get worked up about this topic though.![]()
. Hehehehe.I did have a pink egg but that's not blue. I am so looking forward to an actual blue egg and will be disappointed if I don't see one. I only bought them for their blue eggs because that's what BYC people said. I will wait and see. If not I will be one disappointed EE owner.Yeah, she's pure Ameraucana, but a mix of two approved colors so most would call her an EE, but she will have blue eggs.
