California - Northern

Now fro some happy news!

I am getting ready to set my first batch of UofA Blues eggs. I also have Crele Pene X UofA Blues Olive Egger eggs!

The Egg farmer is impressed with how well the Blues lay and how big the eggs are already. They are still pullets and have only been laying for a couple of months. The eggs are from 55 to 67G in size so Large eggs!

This map says we are central california! Blasphemy!
But also welcome!

AWESOME! I love the Sierras so much, that I named my first born after them. So sorry for you who actually have the blessing of living there...NOT.

Thank you rediculous map people for having pity on us lowly "flat-landers".

My Valentine's Day hatch is done :D I ended up with 6/6 Golden Cuckoo Marans (3 pullets, 3 cockerels) 8/9 W/BW Ameraucanas and 1/2 bantam BLRW chicks.
Thank you for sharing your precious babies. You're letting those of us who have been forbidden from hatching more live vicariously through you.

I've used just one drop on weak chicks that went through the stress of shipping. It works well. Here's a link: http://nutridrench.com/our-products-1.html

Hello Michael. Ok...who are you?? Your advise is awesome. And, although I see myself as a reasonably intelligent person, I have to re-read your posts several times.

Even though this may not come across as a compliment...it REALLY is one.

Ron...I'm SO SO eggcited about your progress. So much in fact, that I'm willing to endure a week of "cold shoulder" from my husband when you have some eggs or chicks or anything available. All in the name of 4H and having pretty colors in our basket.

That is a great attitude!

There is chirping in the bator loaded with staggered hatches. Had to quickly move the day18 eggs to the hatching bater. This is a first for me. Glad I didn't go to bed early tonight !
