Okay i emaed cackle and tge owner asked if i could start them on amprol? isnt that a cocci medication? Why would he want mt to try that
he is thinking cocci. Maybe they are having trouble with it at the hatchery this year, i dunno, seems early to me, but who knows.

and my spraddle leg one is dying now. i dont think its the heat. thats killing them but idj what else could be
Still sounds like they are overheated. Can you post a picture of how they are laying in your brooder? Are their mouths open and their necks pulsating? I never brood my chicks at 95 degrees. I watch them and find that they are much more comfortable between 85-90.

I just took the oldest chick out and put it under the banty. You could almost see her smile when she felt it there. She immediately began to snuggle down ans shift to get the chick into the right spot under her....

most are just running aroubd eating and drinking the temp in my brooder says 83 atm.
That looks fine. When they sleep, are they under the light or off to the sides?
