Oh...and it has been confirmed...the broody Banty I gave 3 chicks to is officially a chick thief. She had 5 under her this morning...

She's a chick-napper.

If you like bantams you should consider Cochin Bantams. I hatched some gorgeous calico cochins from Chooklet .They are awesome little birds. They hatch well, are super hardy sweet friendly birds.

Oh my goodness. Vibrant babies ! So..... I caved at the feed store( I know I know I shouldn't have taken my daughters in) and let them get a few unsexed assorted banties. What are they!!!!!?????

OK @chickee Here is a shot of one of the Mottled. I stole it from under the broody to get a shot of the come for comparison. I will get one of all of them once they are all hatched. There are a couple that look like this and a couple that are more spotty. #5 is working it's way out of the shell right now

I was wondering if they took your thumb off?!? But I LOVE your egg server!!!!!! I've never - now I'll be in the lookout for something like that!

I tossed the core shortly after the photos, because I noticed that they were getting pretty close

I first saw the Skelter on here, before anyone was laying (so couldn't justify hinting for Christmas or my birthday...) The best price I found was on the Manna Pro site.

I hope Jason had some hatch. I have all but two eggs out. They are very cute!

I hope I see a Duck picture from Chrissy soon.

I did get a video of one of the Dels hatching last night.

Yeah, I should probably go to the feedstore by myself today... The 10-year-old will accept that we don't have an incubator or a brooder without much argument, not so sure about the 5-year-old
