I used Wazine and it worked good. We mostly have round worms up here in the hills anyways.

hard white wheat and Hard red wheat are listed as having more Vit K than sunflower seeds. Boss has lots of:

so it could be something like one of those in Boss.

It will not make the egg shell darker than they were, but it will keep them from fading. I will post pictures of the difference with the Partridge Pene eggs soon.

Bad kitty! Go away! I wonder if they are having babies right now and looking for food?

Happy Sunday!
Good example of chicken math:

thats ok. My Empordanesa lay a rainbow of shades of brown. Id like to keep the darker shades going

I made chocolate pudding today. It uses 3 egg yolks. Of course I was checking fertility on them. The Kittle RIRs were fertile and would be interesting chicks--Brand the Partridge Pene is in with them.
So you made chocolate pudding from scratch? Is this one of those,"duh, I should have known how to do that things"? Although it does usually take longer I am trying to get back to making things the "old fashioned" way. You, not the presto instant stuff or the stuff that comes all ready in a box, just add whatever........ How did it turn out?

They are so comical, we will enjoy having them too

Wow! Get a Llama. You like animals right? It is just one more........

Did you ever figure out what happened several months back? That was so sad. I felt so bad for you. I just hate not knowing and learning from those types of things.

Cuckoo is cuckoo pattern lol if she doesn't remember than she must not look at her chickens much. I think they look Like either a cuckoo or black pattern bird

Sorry, I'll explain... I got them (for free) from a lady, that got them from a guy on craigslist. She only wanted 2, he gave her 4, so I took the other 2. She knows nothing of their origin (except that the guy hatched the eggs),

The Pudding was very tasty!

It is a Tyler florence recipe. Notice it say 4 minutes to make it! To me, buying things like instant pudding and Brownie mixes do not make sense. Brownies have 6 ingredients! Pancakes, corn bread and biscuits are similar.

It does take time to chill but pudding is good warm too.

So I've got a question for y'all...I'm going to the big poultry show in Red Bluff on the 29th. If I were to come home with a couple chicks, would they need to be brooded separately from the chicks that I'm getting on the 7th of April? Or would they be close enough in age that it'd be okay to brood them together?

It depends on the size difference. Generally they will be ok. You should Quarantine new birds for two weeks though.
