well I am building another run to put some fruit trees in till I can finish the fencing in the pasture and plant them

eventually it may hold a coop for the free range flock once the trees are planted and a goat house if I fence part of the pasture off for them

I have a standard size mason jar that I'm using for their water, however the probiotic package says that each little packet should be mixed with 1 gallon of water. Does anyone know how much I should put in the water in a mason jar?

The guy at the feed store said to mix it in a gallon pitcher and store the extra in the fridge. Not sure about that (the package says mix daily) but I wouldnt think it could hurt. Wouldn't be any worse than not doing it 1 in 4 days or so. (Also not sure if fridge water might not be too cold) Any other advice

The guy said that the trouble with medicating birds through drinking is that they drink so little. Chicks in the brooder though should be warm and thirsty more frequently.

I'll do a google search on refrigerating it :)
