I have 2 chicks that are about a month old now. One is a Easter egger (Penny) and the other is a light brahma (Henny).

I didn't do much research on breeds, just chose based on availability in town - Davis, CA. Henny is becoming quite a big beauty and Penny is smart and cute.
I had chickens years ago, so I'm not totally new, but there is so much more info and community now. I am thrilled about BYC and the NorCal thread especially.
I'm sorry about the chickens with the bubbly eyes and wet sneezes on the thread I jumped in on. I would be out of my mind with worry, too, especially with it spreading.

Welcome! Do you have chickens now or just preparing for them? I would have considered Davis central CA as a kid, now I'm just over the invisible line at the top of the state.

Thanks. So do you guys think I shouldn't treat unless more symptoms come up besides the wet sounding sneeze?

If there is any bubbly eyes or nasal discharge, then I'd worry. But sneezing in general isn't enough to give them antibiotics- they can sneeze if you change the bedding, or make a sneeze-like sound if they get food stuck in their throats.

I found the Tylan Soluble powder on eBay from someone with 100% positive feedback for $48 including shipping. It won't be here until June 4th, is that too long to wait?

I need an antibiotic that's approved for poultry because I do sell my eggs sometimes.

Yes, it is too long to wait.

Separate the sick ones, even if you make a pen in the yard out of old wire.

Remember to quarantine new chicks away from the flock for two weeks before integrating them. Bubbles in the eye can be bad.
