California - Northern

But wait. They're feet are still pretty cool? They're not very warm. Does that mean they're cold? But that's not right because their temps are fine

As ducklings give them a narrow lip waterer, allow them access to heat, put their bill in the water and then whatever feed you are using but most importantly do not let them get wet. I have raised tens of thousands ducks like this without any problems

This is their water. I made it last night so they could get I to it because the one I had they fit right in.

Go to a feedstore and buy a quart sized poultry waterer with a narrow base. The one you made looks like trouble to me.

OK yeah, I just thought for the sake of being orderly, it would be helpful to those searching for specific info to not have to search every thread, as this one alone has over 50,000 posts. So my question again, is what is the pertinent title of this thread?
I am not sure what exactly you are looking for. But, I guess it could be called "People from Northern California and other places who discuss all things poultry and many things..including opossums and olives... that are not." But that would be a bit cumbersome. The important thing is, If you ask a question here you will get an answer so that is my suggestion. Even if someone has answered that question 10 times before they will be happy to answer it again. No need to worry about labels just enjoy the company and the sometimes way off topic exchanges. We are a friendly group and sometimes the conversation gets conversational

By way of example
Welcome to the thread.
In the spirit of talking about everything I just ate an entirely bowl of olives. **** you whole foods and your seductive ways.
I like the ones stuffed with blue cheese or garlic!

I have one that's a pet and I sure wouldn't let him near any chicks or banties. Found him about this time last year and bottle fed him. Kept meaning to take him to wildlife rescue, but I kept putting it off and now he's huge and sort of tame. Lesson learned...

Here he is last year about a month after I found him:

And no, he did not eat the peachick, though he sure could have.

BTW just warning you. The Easter and Cinco de Mayo Hatchalong threads get way off topic. You can sometimes go for pages without anyone mentioning an incubator but they are fun and if you are in to hatching I suggest that you look into them next spring.
