Maybe he just doesn't like the blue bucket?
I do usually carry a red bucket but the blue one is bigger.

Never really know what may set an animal off. I've seen dogs and cats go nuts over the stupidest things. I cant imagine that birds are any better.
But he just didn't learn. He tried to attack me over and over even though it was the bucket he hit each time. I started yelling at him and shaking the bucket in a threatening way while walking toward him. Monet's comment was, "Mom, you sure make funny noises when a rooster attacks you." Thanks for the help, Kid!

Sounds like an irrational (at least for us) fear of the bucket :)

Not to make light of the situation but why is it that everything always seems to happen on a Friday afternoon or a holiday weekend where you are forced to wait to get things answered.

Sorry to hear about the Bresse. I remember you agonizing about which one to keep.

They do! Im always worried about holiday weekends now like going on vacation.

Im sorry hes not doing well debi I hope you find what it is.

I'm going to try uploading a couple of pics I took of my broody-tease (yes, she seems to be at it again!) I'm on my phone, so we'll see...

If nothing else, the golf ball we found under a tree a few days ago and put in a mast box is nice and warm...

Adding: it worked! She's much less flattened out than she usually is when I get all excited, though. I also have a couple short videos, but I will put them up later.
