I have a 15 week old 75 percent Wheaten Ameraucana 25 percent Black Marans cockerel free to someone that says they don't want him for the dinner table. My Marans lay dark eggs so he was supposed to be a pretty green egg layer. The odd thing about him is he hasn't crowed yet, not even trying. I think he is intimidated by my Wheaten Ameraucana Rooster.

I will have to take one. He looks like a black Ameraucana cockerel with a little red on the wing shoulders. He is twice the size of a pullet of the same cross hatched with him. She is small and dainty. Kern

Hi, I was having trouble logging in but finally I'm here. Phew. I have 6 out of 9 eggs hatched. They are doing well but I did have to help the last one since it was having trouble to get out of the shells. Yay (hopefully most of them are girls!) I will post photos when I got home.

Hahahaha. The million dollar question. We got a lot of pros here on BYC, it's pretty early, but if you post pictures and ask, you'll get some guesses already.
