It is down here now. Yuck. I'm normally safe planting peas around this time, but all of my baby pea plants bit the dust with the cold that we've had. Luckily the girls are little and their tractor is inside for now. Otherwise our mucky, muddy, gross backyard would be even worse.

Hey, Jeremy, are you saving the 2 older chicks for me? I wanted the oldest ones so my chicks are closer in age.....

Anna, yup! Your babies are already beginning to sprout tiny wing feathers!

Do any of you have experience with 4-H clubs in the Citrus Heights/Antelope/Roseville area? It has been a LONG time since I was in 4-H, so I don't know anyone that is active anymore. The Rio Linda club is close, but it looks like they only have a few projects. I don't really want to start a project while I'm going to school full-time, so I'd rather look to another club with more projects. If you have any experience with the local clubs, I'd love to hear from you.

I am posting here and on the bay area thread in hopes that someone has a female duck, any breed but would love a swedish.
I have 2 drakes and a duck and would like to even them out. I worry for poor Lois.
