Hey, I have a Cotton Patch Gander (Pet Quality) that I would like to rehome before the breeding season. Hes gentle, has raised goslings himself and gets along with other males. Non-human agressive, has been living in a flock of bantam and LF chickens and Call ducks. So hes well suited to a mixed flock. I would like him to go to a home where there are other geese, but if you are going to eat him, then its not an issue. PM me for details and prices.

Hi OC, Well today was a great day! The two EE roos went to their new home with a WONDEFFUL man. AND I rehomed an OEGB to another great guy! Now, I can concentrate on finding a home for the Light Brahma roo. He got all upset today when I took his two BFFs [the EEs] away.....
So who is looking for a human friendly approx 9 month old roo?

Well, because he is living in a cage type situation he is not crowing that I know of....I will have to pay attention today [and everyday] to see what kind of a crow he has. Oh he is a pretty fellow tho....Charged my camera batteries...going to take a nicer pic of him today....

P.S. I have him advertized in CL; LA / IE / OC areas.....
Christmas is coming...he would look very pretty with a red or green bow on him......

Technically he is not mine...he belongs to the owner of the private stables where I keep my horse. He got them from someone that probably wanted to get rid of 3 roos. I sort of took over taking care of the chickens there because I didn't like the way they wer neglecting them. Hopefully, I will have the time tomorrow to tie him out in the stableyard when I am there to hear him crow, cuz I honestly have never heard him. I also will get good pics of him. He is very healthy looking/clean feet/ and is getting good quality food now. Lets put it this way, I would have no second thoughts about bringing a bird home to my house from the stables [I have in the past and still do if they need "hospitalization"]. I know I am a horrible enabler....I can't atake him as I live on a small city lot and I am full-house now.

Well OC......here are some updated pics of Mr. Roo just for you......I could not get out till dark today so no luck on getting him to crow, but tomorrow I will be out there from 10 till 2 so I will tie him out and see what happens. He didn't mind being tied at all after the first pull to test the end of the line.

June 24th ish this year was when I picked up my chickens... Now I still have a partially started coop that needs some building and quick... Again if I had the time and space I would have picked him up already ... Sigh... Such is life.... My heart strings all strung out... U must be some sort of marketing major
