CALIFORNIA The Whole State thread

Of the breeds you have listed above, the only ones I have would be the D'uccles and the Sumatra. I don't have any chicks or birds available, just eggs right now.
Jules!!! I don't know why I didn't realize that you have D'uccles! That is one breed that Monet really wants along with Polish! I may have to get on your list for eggs once I have moved out some of the chicks that I already have. Her B-day is coming up. Wouldn't that be a fun surprise for her?!!!

Did you talk to @mycutekitties about the Polish at the party.? Cari turned down her offer of a cockerel & now regrets it so Sarah says she has plenty & I need to go get one for Cari.

Hello all!

I wanted to let you all know that the Silicon Valley Tour de Coop is coming up in September, and they are currently looking for coops to be on the tour!
The more coops available, the better the routes will be! And just because it is called "Silicon Valley", if they get a few coops in an area further away, they can make a little local route there!

Last year I went, and had a really great time talking to people about their coops, and general urban farming and environmental ideas. They were just like me! So this year I signed up to show my coop.

If you are interested in possibly showing your coop, or helping to organize, or just want to register to go on the tour, visit the website www.tourdecoop.org

It's a lot of fun!

I'm kicking myself for not taking Sarah's pinecone bird. I love them, but didn't have a place for it. Stupid me!

Sportsman made a loud pop and sent out sparks last week. I saved as many eggs as I could to put under broodies, which have since hatched, but I lot 180 others. Need to find a place to get it checked out asap, but now that Roaches has been completely sold, I'm not sure what to do. I actually thing something metal kit the back of it and sparked, but I just want to be sure. After the sparks it was running fine and I even checked my wall to make sure it wasn't the wiring in the house, just to paranoid to have it plugged in. I need that thing!!!!

You're welcome
