Hello all!!
We decided this year that we were going to start our own little flock and picked up some chicks at the local feed store....
One of our chicks is a California white leghorn.
We have a running joke in my family: we have named her “Twila” but some of them call “her” Tyler cause she exhibits some roo characteristics. I have high hopes on a pullet just cause I love her and she’s a pretty little chick, but I have no clue. She is around 9 weeks old.

Here are her pics:

I’m prepared for some bad news.... lol
Thank you in advance!!!

Twila or Tyler???

This is one of those that I would have in my questioning group where I sorting birds in my own flock. There is more comb, and more importantly color, then one would typically expect to find in a pullet at 9 weeks (even of this breeding)but less than one would expect to see in a cockerel at this age. The next 2-3 weeks will be telling
