Call duck can’t walk

Hi, my female call duck was absolutely fine this morning but this afternoon I found her laying down in the coop with one of her legs stretched out behind her so she cannot stand up at all? I am assuming she has injured herself or been injure as it’s so sudden! Any advice on what it could be otherwise?

Oftentimes sudden paralysis is due to an abnormally large egg within the oviduct that is creating excesss pressure on the nerves that run adjacent to it. If you are still witnessing the symptoms, let us know, and we can help further.
