Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Yeh, she would be sick to her stomach if she ate all of them, I would think, Heck I give my dogs a peanut butter sandwich and you would think I gave them poision.  LOL  So I would be skepictal about her being the one..  Just doesn't add up right.

Now we had a german shepard that like my chickens but he didn't attack them all in one day, he would do it every day.  So a couple one day, more the next etc.  Now if that's happened, I would be more incline to say UH yeh, you have a problem but you would actually be able to catch her then. 

Let me ask you something is the entire body being devoured or just the heads or are they just completely disappearing?

Well it was a one time thing so far. And nothing has happened since Saturday. She's not messing with now and has never messed with my poultry in the past. All I found was pieces. Heads here, feet there, guts elsewhere; no breasts. Was like the bodies were scarfed and the entrails, heads, feet, feathers left. Had 6 when we ran down the road for a few minutes, had pieces of 6 an hour later when we got back to house. Only ducks touched, have yet to loose a chicken.

HELP...HELP....Hi there I have 8 call duck eggs under a broody hen , anyway its now day 25 and one of eggs has cracked say 3/4 away round the egg , it has been like this for over 24 hours , i can hear it cheeping and scratching or something inside but Dont know what to do , the other eggs have done nothing yet ,,,, Do I need to Help ,,, all new to this , first ever ducks and reading all these threads its scary to hear about call ducks hatching PLEASE ANYONE

OK no pic, then I would very gently take the Top part off and have his head plop out. JUST HIS HEAD NOTHING ELSE, let him kick the rest of the shell off.

UPDATE...just candled eggs 6 out of 8 hv seem to of broke in to air sack and moving like mad but still only one is all cracked , should i mist them or damp them or what , just worried about the one that has been cracked for 28 hours or longer , its moving around like mad

NO NO MISTING, no damping, just flip the top part off of him, keep his feet and butt in the shell just get his little head out.

GIRLS HELP MEEEEE, GRRR. momma duck had three babies so far, she's been sitting on the last one our slow poker, in the meantime, two of the babies decide to go exploring, YEH I KNOW NOT GOOD.

Well I have several momma chickens, three of them and a ROOSTER, attacked one of the babies, now once I get home I will take momma duck lock her and the two babies in a coop and hatch out the SLOW POKER.

Meanwhile, the third baby that was tossed up and thrown AROUND, he's been Injured, Possible his NECK. GRRRRRR I will kill them ALLLLLLLLL.

Any suggestions on the first thing I need to do when I get home?????


He's locked up in my room right now AWAY from all the Commotion...
