This is impossible how the heck can I already have an external peeper. I have never seen anything like this. And he's making all kinds of noise he's three days to early grrrrr that worries me for them to be so early. I worry about problems and issues for his future. Although I know he won't be out until another 24 hours if he can do it which I doubt it becuase if you look closely. HES UPSIDE DOWN.

He never came home but I haven't lost anymore and I really hope I don't im down to 4 rouens all males . Yes my rouen was gay. But his mate started hanging around my crested rouen and one of my mallard females .

Good luck. I had a batch of anconas hatch upside down last year. Out of 10 eggs, 7 were pipped on the wrong end! I only had to help a few, the rest were ok. I hate helping when they are too early... I always fear the unabsorbed yolk

(day 9) UPDATE: I just candled mine and it appears my Valentine's Day baby (Perdy's very first egg) has stopped growing

I'm going to give it a while longer though and not toss it out, until necessary. The other 5 are continuing to grow and thrive wonderfully though! They're beauties, they were doing flips for me as I was candling! I love them already!

(day 9) UPDATE: I just candled mine and it appears my Valentine's Day baby (Perdy's very first egg) has stopped growing

I'm going to give it a while longer though and not toss it out, until necessary. The other 5 are continuing to grow and thrive wonderfully though! They're beauties, they were doing flips for me as I was candling! I love them already!

Yeah I have them all dated. It was the very first egg, born on Valentine's Day.

It looked sorta different from the start, with it's 'loose' appearance. Almost like the air cell was detached or something. I'll try and take a picture of it later tonight. My poor little baby. It had a heartbeat only 3 days ago.
