Sounds like a horrible learning experience Clousert, but you may be saving someone from making that very mistake. 

I hope so. It wasn't a cheap mistake. I am glad however that my little man with only 1 eye healed up nicely and will get to have a nice life here with me instead of living a life of over breeding to put money in someone's pocket. He's such an adorable boy and I love him dearly.

PS I blame ALL OF YOU. For the past week I have been burning a hole into my computer trying to find call ducks!!!! I am officially OBSESSED and my 3 eggs haven't even hatched yet!!!!

LOL. Blame it on the babies. They're the ones that are just so darned adorable!!!

So this one is for Lori so she can see that all the babies are still there Man do they grow fast. Too fast!!! Only time I can get them all together is when it's time to rest lol.

LOL. That's a lot of eggs. I would say she's broody alright. Looks like she's even stealing eggs from others because of all the different colors lol. Going to be fun when they all start hatching

I know!! Especially with it being so cold there....will momma keep them warm after they hatch???

Usually yes but she may have a hard time keeping that many warm. Sometimes other females will join in too though so hopefully all will work out.
