Awww. Are these call babies? I don't know why they'd have so much water but does seem logical that it be from the snow. Maybe it was too much water/dampness in the nest once it melted. Hope the other one makes it.

No these are chickens but I am down to six call where I started at eight, these two died in there shell, one was upside down and sticky, the other not fully formed yet.. I knew something was wrong with it because I could see threw half the shell so he stopped sometime along the ride.. But I Do have three out so far waiting for the other three..
Still sucks. Sorry about the calls too. You will have to post pics of the others once they all finish hatching. I just love baby pics and trying to guess colors
Awe I am so sorry. I don't know either I've never heard of that happening.

I'm getting the Ancona ducklings shipped this week.
Clousert I still need the little one for my little call. I can come later today or anytime this week just text or PM me good time. I want the big one but since I'm getting other ancona ducklings I don't want him to get run over....you have any small dark ones you'd want to part with too?
If not ill just get the one from you now and then wait until their older and you're ready to sell some

Well my results aren't as good as I was hoping, one internally peeped but died another one wasn't going to make it if his life depended on it. He was upside down and broke a vein inside,.. Grrrrr.
So that left me with four babies, the chicken didn't make it either, I was up all night ever hour and half I was wetting her and giving her some sugar water and she waits until 9 this morning and passed. So I'm exhausted.
But all four ducks are not quite fluffed up, I have an extremely noisy one and she's a mallard. All four are different colors. Lol

Awe Im sorry! Glad that you at least have the four. My little single one is waiting patiently for me to go get him a "friend". Hopefully I can get over there in the next couple days.
I'm going to hold off on more eggs. Can't put calls in for another week otherwise they'd hatch while I'm in IL.....
Waiting to hear back about the Ancona Ducklings. Hoping they can ship them out this week :/ I'll feel better after I get an invoice and pay for them. It's been so hard keeping contact with the person......my loner needs friends though, his stuffed animal isn't cutting it anymore. Poor guy.
WHOOT!!! I should get an invoice tonight!!!!!!

First one mallard, second one chocolate bibbed, third bibbed I think maybe MAGPIE???, fourth mallard again she likes to be held.
The fourth one not dried up yet still waiting for him...
