Just got off work after a 15 hour work day, this is day 26 and i find this one egg out of 20 who is 1/2 way pipped out of his shell, pulled him out and manually pipped him out the rest of the way, he's fully formed, no blood vessels showing anywhere, yoke sack is all absorbed, and there is this green slime that came out of the shell that i've never seen in all my years, and also there was shell stuck to his little wing that i had to run under hot faucet for awhile to get it off, what should i do? There are 19 more eggs, should i start breaking them out? I have another 12 to 15 hr work shift tomorrow before i get a day off, am worried that they 'll be dead by tomorrow night!
The first pic, I don't like his flooring, was that just for the picture taken?? The flooring is just to slippery and will cause him to get spraddled legs. You said you pulled him out??? That's a scary thing to hear... The only thing you would really need to do is get the head out, No need to pull the baby out of the shell, he needs to work his legs and do that part on his own. As long as he is NO longer confined ONLY, Please ONLY get the head out and leave the Rest for him to do. That's very VERY risky, because IF by chance he still had some blood in his cord, BOOM, it just got ripped out. I understand in this case he did not have any blood but again, There's NO need to pull him out.. SO please just get the head out, that's all that is necessary as far as assisting..
