It was turning into mayhem down at the pond so we are gonna put them in the brooder box. Less stress on all concerned, especially us!

They are adorable and just think now you get to cuddle and smooch on them

How do you increase the humidity in the incubator?

How do you increase the humidity in the incubator?

humidity is increased by adding surface area to the water. Basically you add water. If it needs to be higher, you add water to another reservoir or add a bowl, cup, or sponge.

Still trying to figure out all the colors. They will reveal themselves more later, I suppose. I'm still learning! But I have some pied, maybe a snowy, I think a black bibbed, probably some dusky. The guys and gals here will have to help me determine them all.

She is! I noticed her all stretchy'd out and upright. In loves.

5 days, still 12 for 12! Introduced them to a shallow tray of water today, they took to it like........well, lets not go there! Then they preened and soaked up some sunlight 'till they were all dry and puffed up!
