I take in rescue Ducks too.
Many sad stories with excellent results ..Started after Dandy was hatched special needs and I felt a need to help Ducks that otherwise would suffer...
I suck...I love Ducks and animals..My best friends..

Just fed the ducks today... The greys are really starting to get used to their surroundings now. Sat down with them while they ate, that was the closest they've been to me which was a little less than three feet. Got a new computer for Christmas so i'm working on getting All of my pics on my new pc.... might take a while till then but i'll try and get more pics of the calls when i'm feeding them again

Wow...Its -31C and feels like -36C..Brrrr.
Needless to say, chores were not fun this morning..All my Birds are happy though..

Yesh! it's about -17C here but it's pretty sunny out... my poor animals wont leave their coops except for my horses.

Yep..My Birds are all locked in plus I run heat although their water freezes..Just warm enough to cut the extreme cold.
My Horses are great, covered in frost. Dogs feet were getting pretty cold. They are in the walkout basement. Spoiled Dogs.

i'v got a couple of jack russells in the house but my Bernese Mountain dog loves the snow~ I honestly sometimes think of just keeping him out with the horses..
its nice having some animals you'll see out in the snow.. my rescue and pony love being out in the snow.. they're pretty much never away from each other.

My Big Dogs love the Snow. Only thing is cold feet in temps this low..Awesome you take in rescues..My Mini was a rescue.
